Circa 1913 Frank Chance New York Yankees Photograph (PSA Type I)

Circa 1913 Frank Chance New York Yankees Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photo of Hall of Fame first baseman Frank Chance as a member of the New York Yankees, circa 1913. Chance is pictured sprinting from the plate towards first baseman during a spring-training practice session. Three Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with two small inventory labels and Chance’s name written in pencil. Although no year is listed, Chance was player/manager of the Yankees only in 1913 and 1914, which conclusively dates the photo to one of those two years. The photo (6x4.5”) displays a few light surface wrinkles and is in Very Good to Excellent condition. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
