Vintage 6x8.5" circa 1916 black and white image of Hall of Famer Dave Bancroft from his playing days in Philadelphia. The shortstop is posed ready to field a grounder; photo has folds at corners including a notable one on top right. Pencil notation on verso identifies Bancroft along with “Curtis Pho” in pencil. This is part of the Brown Brothers archive, the premier photo aggregation service of the early 1900s.
