Two great broadsides from the Schenectady Black Sox are namesakes of the infamous Chicago "White" Sox team of 1919. Large 17x11" poster pictures Amos "Big Train" Wright (nick-namesake for Walter Johnson) in the center the "Star," Manager and Director of the team. His praises are sung as "Since 1928 'Big Train' Wright has been considered one of the best pitchers in Colored Baseball throughout the Eastern States." Folded o/w EX-MT. Comes with smaller yellow paper broadside (9x4") with all the players named: Ted Greene, Camp Williams, Carl Logan, Bunny Downs, Howard Cleveland, Sender Triento, Joe Dugan, Leon Ruffin, Amos Wright, Andy Sarvis, Jimmy Marrow, and Jimmie Johnson. Won-lost record has been changed to 20-6, o/w NRMT.
