Circa 1929 Babe Ruth and Others Signed Photograph (Type I) - PSA/DNA LOA
Babe Ruth posed with three of his Yankees teammates - Bob Shawkey, Benny Bengough and Roy Sherid - in this quirky Type I signed photograph. Even if unsigned, this would be a great image as Ruth is wearing a plain white shirt (to his teammates' pinstripe uniform tops), white socks (his mates' are black), has his visor turned up and what appears to be an inside-out hat. The photo has several creases and the ink signatures rate as follows: Ruth 6/10, Shawkey 6/10, Benough 6/10, Sherid 2.5/10. Matted and beautifully framed to 13x10", the charisma of the Bambino practically bursts from this circa 1929 beauty. Comes with full letter from PSA/DNA.
