Circa 1930 Bill Dickey Original Glass Plate Negative
Original glass plate negative capturing New York Yankees catcher Bill Dickey, circa 1930. Dickey is pictured posing in front of the dugout as he gazes directly into the camera. Dickey joined the Yankees in 1928 and the uniform style shown here, without the "NY" logo on the left breast, was used until 1935, thereby dating the image to that eight-year span. The negative (4x6") remains in Excellent condition. Accompanied by a small positive image of the photo printed on paper.
