Circa 1930s Mel Ott Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photograph of Hall of Fame outfielder Mel Ott, circa 1930s. Ott is pictured striking a batting pose on the sideline prior to a game. A "National Baseball League Service Bureau" credit stamp appears on the reverse, as do a few handwritten and stamped editorial markings, and a later date stamp of "May 11 1945." The photo (8x9.75") displays a small chip in the lower left corner and several light-to-moderate creases. In Very Good condition. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
