Circa 1940 Frank McCormick Game Worn Cap
For three consecutive seasons, culminating in the Reds' World Championship in 1940, McCormick sat atop the hits/season stat board, certainly a good part of the reason that the fans of Cincinnati enjoyed that happy October. Tremendous wear apparent, but cap has held together nicely and displays perfectly. Size "7 3/8" sewn in red thread in leather headband, where number "10" is faintly penned.
