Circa 1940s St. Louis Browns Team Jacket

Nice vintage look to this well-preserved circa 1940s St. Louis Browns jacket. Collar has Official Celco Jacket Chicago tag in collar, with Celco size 44 tag sewn inside the right pocket. Jacket is brown with orange trim, black and orange elastic at waist, and white piping down each sleeve. An embroidered Browns logo patch is stitched to the left breast of the zip-front top. The original Milwaukee Brewers moved to St. Louis and became the Browns after the 1901 season, proceeding to reside in the Gateway City for the next 52 seasons, ending with the franchise's move to Baltimore in 1953.
