Circa 1944 Frankie Frisch Pittsburgh Pirates game worn jersey comes with a Grading Book from SGC detailing the specifics of this jersey. Heavy flannel jersey is zip-front with Spalding size small tag and "F. Frisch" chain stitched on strip tag in collar. Small box tag in tail reads "42," indicating the size. PIRATES is stitched individually across the chest in red-on-blue felt, though the red surfaces on both letters and numbers have faded to a light pink. Number 35 is on back in same style; the blue also displays fading, compared to the blue trim on the front letters. Frisch spent over three decades in the Majors, including 19 as a player in which he combined outstanding fielding with a .316 lifetime batting average, playing a key role in four World Series titles.
