Circa 1948 Sibby Sisti Boston Braves Game Used Cap
A fan favorite who spent all of his 13 Major League seasons with the Braves - in Boston, then Milwaukee - Sebastian "Sibby" Sisti personally owned this game-worn hat. His last name and number "7" are embroidered on the band in red and he signed it along with nickname "Fergy" on the bill. Beautiful "worn" condition from the man who played every position except pitcher and catcher, and also lost three years in his playing prime due to military service in the US Coast Guard from 1943-45. In the Braves' run to the 1948 World Series, Sisti played a key role, filling in for the injured Eddie Stanky.
