Circa 1951 Joe DiMaggio Signed Professional Model Bat

Circa 1951 Joe DiMaggio Signed Professional Model Bat

Joltin' Joe DiMaggio has signed this Hillerich & Bradsby Model H117 Louisville Slugger bat in slightly faded 5/10 thin felt marker below his branded name. This is vintage and was likely signed in the 1970s before bat signatures became all the rage. The 36" 34.2 oz. game used bat is slightly cracked and has some minor black marking on the very bottom of the handle, but is otherwise in EX condition. DiMaggio won three MVPs and was elected to the All-Star team every year he was in the majors during his 13-year career with the New York Yankees. His 56-game hitting streak is a record that still stands today. This bat comes with a letter from PSA (bat only). In the letter it states that this is likely a team index bat. Although the bat was ordered by the team, it is the correct weight and length for DiMaggio. The labeling period is from 1951-52. Although it can't be confirmed that DiMaggio used this bat, it is possible.
