Circa 1952 Bob Toneff Notre Dame Letterman's Sweater
Bob Toneff's Notre Dame lettermans' sweater (Sand knit size 50). Toneff was a tackle on the 1952 team that finished ranked third in the country under famed coach Frank Leahy. Blue sweater with gold patch and stripes. Toneff was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1952 NFL Draft, the 22nd pick overall. Played 13 seasons in the NFL with the 49ers and Redskins. Six intact buttons and two pockets on lower front. Beautiful ND patch on left breast and three "gold" stripes on left sleeve.
