Circa 1960 Jerry Lucas Ohio State Game Worn Jersey
Dating from is collegiate days, this circa 1960 Ohio State jersey was game worn by Jerry Lucas, who played for the Buckeyes from 1959-62. During that span, Lucas was named NCAA Player of the Year on two occasions, and OSU won its sole National Championship in 1959-60. The white home top has "Ohio State" across the front above Lucas' number 11, all in red-on-black tackle twill lettering. It's signed in black marker right on the front in the middle, perfect placement, and shows heavy use with loose threads on nameplate and numbers. There's also a flap on the tail with original buttons, Rawlings and wash tag are in the flap. Not only was he a collegiate superstar, but in the days of athletes competing, he helped lead Team USA to an Olympic Gold medal at the 1960 games in Rome. In addition to being named as an NBA All-Star on seven occasions, and was part of the New York Knicks last championship team in 1973.
