Circa 1965 Jim Brown Game Worn Jersey
One of the finest specimens from the gridiron we have yet to offer is this stunning circa 1965 Jim Brown Cleveland Browns game used jersey. Worn during the ninth and final season of his Hall of Fame career, one in which saw him win NFL ROY honors in 1957, rush for more than 1,000 yards on seven different occasions, attend nine Pro-Bowls, and set the standard for durability by never missing a game. The cream colored gamer is sewn with his number "32" on the front, verso, and sleeves in brown tackle twill. Complete with all of its original "Blepp-Coombs Sporting Goods" and "King O'Shea [size] 44" tagging on the crotch piece. The use exhibited is moderate with light wear and slight stain on front at stomach area. Initially purchased in 1966 at a charity event in Cleveland for $200, after being donated by none other than Art Modell, and it has remained with its owner since that time. 100% original.
