Circa 1968 Ted Kluszewski Old Timers Game Worn Uniform
This rare style was most likely worn by Klu during an old timers get together at Crosley Field. The folks in the clubhouse needed to dig up a uniform for him, which explains the fact that the number "18" on the right chest, and again on the back, is team-changed. The name, of course, was changed too, to the arching "Kluszewski" that resides there now across the shoulders. Reds logo patch over heart has not budged from the home white pinstriped flannel since it was first affixed. "MacGregor [size] 50" tagging in collar, with "Set 2 1967" tagging in tail. "Wilson" brand undershirt is off-white cotton, with wooly red 3/4 length sleeves. "18 KLU" in marker below back of collar. Matching pants have "MacGregor [size] 42" tagging in the waistband. All pieces have great use. Originally acquired directly from Klu.
