Circa 1969 Mickey Mantle Used Coaches Bat
After his playing days were over The Mick served as a batting instructor for the Yankees. This bat was used by Mantle and it certainly launched a few into the seats. It must have been great for some wide eyed rookie to stand there and get hitting instructions from a legend. Bat was obtained directly from Mantle by former Tigers pitcher, Jack Warden. Bat is 33-3/4" in length and weighs in at 2lbs. 1.9oz. Nice use with ball seam marks on barrel. .
