Circa 1971-72 Bill Melchionni New York Nets (ABA) Jersey
<p>On offer here is a vintage early 1970s Rawlings salesman sample jersey, identified by the number font, absence of a name on the verso, and a hexagonal swatch in the collar with the uniform's design specs. A bunch of these sample jerseys were obtained and sold during the 70s by Building 19, an East Coast warehouse distributor of various products. <span style="font-size: 10pt;">The Nets flag motif is one of the most identifiable ABA uniform styles from the Me Decade. Meanwhile, Melchionni won a title with the Sixers in the NBA and two with the Nets in the ABA. A great display piece.</span></p>
