Circa 1974 Pittsburgh Pirates Game Worn Jersey
<p>Pittsburgh Pirates home jersey dating from the four-year span 1973-1976 (based upon the style). The white knit jersey is lettered "Pirates" across the front and features the number "24" on the front and reverse. All letters and numerals are applied in black on gold tackle twill. A "Rawlings size 44" label is located on the interior right tail. No other tags or labels are present, and there is no evidence of any having been removed. Two players wore number "24" with the Pirates between the years 1973 and 1976: Paul Popovich in 1974 and 1975, and Omar Moreno in 1975. Since both players were of similar size and weight, the offered jersey could have been worn by either of the two. The jersey is all original and displays moderate wear, including light, scattered staining.</p>
