Circa 1975 Pete Rose Cincinnati Reds Signed Game Used Bat (PSA GU 8.5)
Pete Rose Adirondack pro-model ("69A") bat dating from the club's 1975 World Championship season. Graded GU 8.5 by PSA. The bat, which measures 35 inches and weighs 34.3 ounces, is not cracked and displays outstanding use, including checking (from repeated ball contact) on the front and right barrel. Rose's uniform number ("14") is written on the knob in vintage red marker. Rose has signed the bat in blue marker (grading 6/10) below the barrel stamping. Several pieces of clear tape have been applied to both the signature and barrel stamping. Rose enjoyed another banner season in 1975, leading the league in runs (112) and doubles (47), while adding 7 home runs and 74 RBI to go along with a .317 batting average. Those numbers helped lead the Reds to their first of two consecutive World Championships. Individual full LOAs from PSA for both the bat (GU 8.5) and signature.
