Circa 1984 Pete Rose Game Worn Glove

Circa 1984 Pete Rose Game Worn Glove

Worn during his stint with the Montreal Expos during the very season he collected his 4,000th career hit. Pete's Mizuno glove appears to have been used for a good portion of the season. The stampings on the palm have been pounded away and the manufacturer's tagging on the wrist and web is nicely worn. The blue-dyed leather body, still with a thin layer of field dust, is well-broken in and very flexible, the result of innumerable innings with Charlie Hustle. This was originally purchased from Rose's brother back in the mid 1980's and comes with an LOA from the individual who purchased the glove from Dave Rose.
