Used by Kirk Gibson during the Dodgers great 1988 World Championship run, this gamer is absolutely crushed with use.Model S216 bat is from the 1986-89 labeling period. We know that he used this bat in the NL because of the black National League baseball label marks on the barrel; he was with the Tigers in the American League up to and including the 1987 season.Bat features a hand written "23" on the knob along with a cracked handle, pine tar, and ball/cleat marks all over the barrel. If we had to rate this on a scale 1 to 10, we would give it a 9 only because of the cracked handle.
