Circa 1989 Ken Griffey Jr. Seattle Mariners Rookie Era Signed Game Used Cleats (PSA)
<p>Ken Griffey, Jr. burst onto the scene in 1989 and didn't take long to establish himself as one of the game's elite athletes, eventually blasting 630 home runs and earning 10 Gold Gloves in center field. During that debut season with the Mariners, Junior wore these blue Nike cleats that show terrific use and are both autographed. Comes with an LOA from PSA on the autograph for one of the cleats, but not for both due to the condition of one of them, deeming it inconclusive. The signatures are in silver Sharpie and include Griffey's #24 along side his full name on the right shoe. The left does not have a number inscribed. Griffey - who would be joined in Seattle by his father a year later - batted a respectable .264 that rookie campaign but would bat .300 or better in seven of the next eight seasons as he hit his prime.</p>
