Circa 1994 Bugs Bunny "Yer Out" Illustration by Virgil Ross
Circa 1994, this "Yer Out" illustration by Virgil Ross measures 10.5x25" on animation paper. Hand drawn with pencil and colored pencil, it depicts Bugs Bunny sliding into home plate in the classic short "Baseball Bugs." Signed by Virgil Ross, who was an uncredited illustrator on the original 1946 production, on bottom right corner in pencil, it includes the "umpire" would would eventually be tricked into changing his call. Shown is an example of the cel that this was made to produce.
