Dominating most major pitching categories this season and winning the pitchers’ triple crown, Pedro led the AL with a 23-4 record, 313 strikeouts (#1 in the majors) and an incredible 2.07 ERA (#1 in the majors), a full run better than that of his closest rival (David Cone’s 3.44) in a year when the average ERA for all pitchers in the AL was 4.86. His 37 walks were the fewest ever for a pitcher with three hundred strikeouts. A majority of the havoc he wrought upon AL batters that season was done while wearing this Rawlings Pro 200-4JB.
