Civil War Calvary Sword and Rifle Relic

Civil War Calvary Sword and Rifle Relic

The War Between the States remains the bloodiest conflict ever on U.S. soil, and these two weapons from that tumultuous period in the mid-19th Century would be great additions to any collection. The sword was manufactured by Ames of Chicopee, Mass. and is beautiful with its brass guard, leather grip and classic style. The other side of the hilt is marked US JH 1857. The blade is in great shape, as is the original scabbard. The rifle is a relic and will not fire. It has a date of 1863 and the word "tower" on the side. A tremendous Civil War-era display piece.
