1863 Civil War food token from Felix Kosher Dining Salon measures approximately 1" in diameter and says, "Felix Kosher Dining Salon, 256 Broadway, New York" on one side with an Indian Head on the other side bearing the date, 1863. This incredibly rare token was actually given to Jewish soldiers in the Union Army when they visited New York. "Kosher" displayed in Hebrew characters. Above is a copy of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address written one side in English and the other in Yiddish (most likely taken from a contemporary Yiddish Newspaper). The coin is presented in a special frame so that both sides are visible while the Gettysburg address along with drawing of Lincoln delivering it are mounted above the coin and presented in an elegant brown frame measuring approximately 19x17". Coin is EX-MT.
