Classic Jack Johnson Jess Willard Vintage Photo
Marvelous image is one of the most famous in the history of the sport. Depicts Johnson on the canvas shielding his eyes from the Havana sun after he “supposedly” took a dive in this fight versus strongman Jess Willard AND the United States Government. This is the only truly vintage first generation original we have seen, this came out of Cuba about five years ago. Left corner is restored, writing at top “Willard Johnson knockout” o/w EX. 5x7”.
