Clay vs Liston I Full Ticket
On February 25, 1964 in Miami Beach young and brash Cassius Clay, the former Olympic Gold Medalist fought heavyweight champion Sonny Liston with the title on the line. Liston was a prohibitive favorite, but the younger and far quicker Clay out boxed him and ultimately stopped Liston in the 7th round in one of the biggest upsets in boxing history. Lelands is proud to offer a very rare, original, full, unused ticket for this historic event. This magnificent full ticket pictures and names both fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. The stub is firmly attached. There is no creasing and the ticket is clean front and back. The print, color and images remain bold and clear. The ticket has been authenticated and graded NM (near mint) by PSA/DNA. An extremely rare ticket, especially in this condition.
