Cleveland Indians Cookie Jar Made by Gibbs-Conner

Cleveland Indians Cookie Jar Made by Gibbs-Conner

This cookie jar features a rather saucy smile from the Cleveland Indians' mascot, Chief Wahoo. The exaggerated features like his popping eyes and red cheeks just make you smile when you look at it. Small black paint strokes create a bit of hair on each side of Wahoo's face. The red feather on top is connected to the back of his head, which lifts up easily as the cover of this cookie jar. The jar measures 33" in diameter, and almost one foot in height. This is nicely painted and shellacked, with some shine worn off on the back of the head - a great piece for a Cleveland fan. But the question still remains: Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?
