Cleveland Indians Stanford Pottery Bank

Cleveland Indians Stanford Pottery Bank

It may not be politically correct, but it sure is a terrific piece of Americana. The Cleveland Indians mascot, complete with gold tooth, comes from the late 1940s and is stamped Stanford Pottery on the bottom. It is in NRMT condition. Originally named "The Little Indian" though a comic strip in the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the team's logo/mascot eventually came to be known as Chief Wahoo.
