Collection of Seabiscuit Programs (3)
Three race programs with a Seabiscuit theme comprise this nifty lot. Two of them feature the champion thoroughbred as a participant and the other honors him as "Horse of the Year" for 1938. Here's the rundown: Hollywood Park July 16, 1938 (Biscuit won the Hollywood Gold Cup breaking the track record), Santa Anita Park February 24, 1940 and Santa Anita Park 1981-82 season with “Horse of the Year – 1938 Seabiscuit” commemoration. The two oldest programs are in VG-EX condition with pencil marks inside but display very well. The 1981-82 program is EX-MT and unmarked.
