Tremendous amount of baseball signatures - over 75, and including Willard Brown and Bob Feller - on three Negro League posters, two of which are the same poster for a film about the leagues entitled “There was always Sun Shining Someplace - Life in the Negro Baseball Leagues,” on which (between the two) over 50 signatures adorn. Signed movie posters are wood framed and measure 20 ? x 26 ?”. The third poster (unframed) is a cardboard advertisement for the very popular 1935 end-of-the-season “big four team double header” at Yankee Stadium (“Negro World Series - Last Two Games of the Year - Sunday, Sept. 22”), with the second game boasting a dual between Slim Jones and Satchel Paige, as the Philadelphia Stars took on the Pittsburgh Crawfords. This poster contains 22 signers, and measures 17 ? x 23 ?”. All signatures obtained in person at reunions in Ashland, KY.
