Corbett - Jeffries Full Ticket (1903)
On August 14, 1903 at Mechanics Pavilion in San Francisco, World Heavyweight Champion James J. Jeffries defended his title against former champion James J. Corbett. This was second meeting between the two. In this fight, the bigger Jeffries dominated Corbett and stopped him in the 10th round. This was Corbett's last professional fight. Offered here is an original, full, unused ticket to this event, listing the fighters, venue and date while including box, section, and seat number. Stub firmly attached. Crease at lower right corner. Edge and corner wear. Mild surface wear on the left side and lower border. Generally clean including the ornate design on the back. Exceedingly rare full ticket. 2 1/2" x 6 1/2".
