Dallas Green‚s World Series and All-Star Game Press Pin Collection (120+)
You‚d be hard-pressed to find a more diverse collection of baseball press pins than this one Dallas Green assembled over his baseball life that spanned more than four decades as player, coach, manager and front office executive. There are 54 World Series pins, including six from the Yankees, first-time participants (Colorado, Toronto, San Diego, Arizona, Milwaukee, Houston, Florida, Texas and Anaheim), curse-busters for the Cubs and Red Sox, and the Miracle Mets. As for All-Star pins, there are 22, including the infamous 2002 tie game in Milwaukee. Less than 10% are the charm variety and there are about five of them missing the pin on the back. Another five or so are not the official versions. The vast majority are NRMT, with several still housed in their original boxes. Strangely enough, some of the newer ones from the 2000s are among the rarest.
