Dallas Texas Wire Photos with Book Depository (25)
Landmark Dallas buildings, including the infamous School Book Depository from a window of which President Kennedy was shot, is the subject of this interesting lot of (25) wire photos. Dated from 1949 to 1983, stand out images include: several scenes of the Depository including a diagrammed version of its position in Dealy Plaza; construction of the spectacular Republic National Bank skyscraper in 1954; spectacular photo of the Republic National Bank skyscraper's half-billion candlepower roof beacon shining toward the old bank tower. Sized from 7x9" to 9x12", the lot is fairly evenly distributed through a condition range from VG (mostly due to editing marks) to MT.
