Dan Abramowicz Game Worn New Orleans Saints Jersey
Before there was Archie Manning, Dan Abramowicz was the face of the Saints franchise. An unlikely hero, he was 17th round draft pick out of Xavier for the expansion 1967 New Orleans Saints, who nearly overnight became an instant success by catching more than 100 passes during his first two seasons and leading the league with 73 catches in 1969. Directly from those high flying seasons of the late 60's we offer his rarely seen New Orleans jersey. On the chest and back is sewn his number "46" in black tackle twill, while "Abramowicz" is screened to the nameplate across the shoulders. The white dureen gamer has no manufacturer's or size tagging due to the shortening at the hem, a trait commonly seen in receiver's jerseys. Overall it shows the signs of Good use. 100% original with no changes.
