Dan Marino Miami Dolphins Signed Game Worn Cleats (PSA)
"There is no defense against the perfect pass," said Dan Marino. "I can throw the prefect pass." In his 17-year NFL career, all with the Miami Dolphins, Marino threw enough perfect passes to take the Dolphins to the playoffs in 10 seasons, including one Super Bowl appearance. Although Marino never won a Super Bowl, he is widely recognized as one of the best quarterbacks in pro football history. The Hall of Famer was a 9-time Pro Bowler, the 1984 MVP, and had a 147-93 record. He threw for 424 touchdowns, had 33 comebacks, and 47 game-winning drives. The offered game-worn cleats show nice use, with field dirt still on them. The left shoe of the size 13 cleats is signed, with Marino's signing as "Dan Marino 13" clearly written in black marker. The Nike swoosh is affixed on each heel. Each heel also exhibits the printed # "13." The left shoe shows some small cover loss on the back left. There are numerous tiny losses of the rubberized material on the heels and sides of the cleats, and many small smudges in many places. The colorful cleats come with a Marino hologram, but it is loose, so it is off the cleat. The signed cleats are a great game worn keepsake from one of the top passes in NFL history.
