Dave Clark Five Collection

Dave Clark Five Collection

While they never achieved the ultimate longevity or mass appeal of their forerunners, the Beatles, the Dave Clark Five were the second band of the British Invasion to score a chart hit in the United States and help usher in a trend that changed the face of popular music in the 1960's. This lot is a collection of items that commemorates the career of this recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Items include: Mike Smith's own gold records for both "Glad All Over" and "Greatest Hits", a DC5 gold 45 record, and a large poster of the group signed by Mike Smith, inscribed "DCV."
