Dave Winfield Game Used Bat
Hall of Fame outfielder Dave Winfield cracked this 34", 25 oz. Adirondack model DW20 sometime during his final season with the Padres, we estimate. It shows moderate use with a cracked handle, pine tar, and some ball marks on the barrel, which is signed in 8/10 white paint pen. After that 1980 season, Winfield signed the largest contract in baseball at the time, joining the Yankees for 10 years and 23 million dollars (a mere pittance by today's standards).
