Dave Winfield Game Used Bat and Hat

Dave Winfield Game Used Bat and Hat

One of the greatest athletes who ever lived, Dave Winfield was drafted in the NBA, ABA, NFL and Major League Baseball upon his graduation from the University of Minnesota. This bat is a brown Louisville Slugger Model W273 from the 1980-83 time period. Number "31" is on the knob and shows nice use with ball marks on the barrel and a slight crack. It is 35" long, weighs 36 oz and is signed in 7/10 silver paint pen on the barrel. The hat is a late 1970s San Diego Padres model by New Era, size 7 5/8 and has "31" written under the brim. It, too, is signed by Winfield in 8/10 black marker under the brim and reveals very nice use. Interestingly, Winfield was born the very day Bobby Thomson connected on the "Shot Heard 'Round the World" in 1951.
