David Thompson Circa 1975 North Carolina State GameUsed Jersey
Watching him elevate was almost supernatural. Many told the story of having seen Thompson pick quarters off the top of a backboard, a sight difficult to envision. It is confirmed that he had a momentous 44" vertical leap. "The Skywalker" wasn't just a leaper. He was a player. At NC State he was a three-time First-Team All-America and two-time Associated Press National Player of the Year. Jersey from that era (his number is retired) is a great one. Front reads "State" and the back reads "Thompson" both over his "44". Bottom front has two tags: Rawlings 42 and 2" longer. College jerseys of players of this caliber are extremely rare and are the most sought after in the hobby.
