David Watkins' 1996 LSU Tiger SEC Peach Bowl Ring
This '96 Peach Bowl ring of defensive end David Watkins blends triumph and tragedy. Watkins was diagnosed in '97 with a heart condition and though he underwent a heart transplant he sadly died last Sepember. Watkins' full name is engraved on the inside of the 10K ring and "Watkins" appears in raised block letters on the right shank. Crown depicts the LSU "tiger" above 7 CZ stones surrounded by "SEC West Co-Champions." Left shank has "LSU Tigers 10-2" and a team helmet. Mint. Size 9.5.
