Democratic National Conventions 1948-1992 (230+ images)
A great collection that follows the Democratic National Conventions from the 1940s to the 1990s. The format is the same every year but the antics are always different. In this collection we see a host of protestors ejected, from a Nazi advocate to a woman who set off fire crackers. Costumes and clever banners are seen throughout. LBJ makes an appearance walking through the crowd. Seating charts and even a Democratic Manual are included in the photos. Many of the photos have news clippings and sizes vary but most prints are 8.5”x11”.
