French great Georges Carpentier fought Jack Dempsey for the Heavyweight Title on July 2,1921 in front of over 80,000 people in Jersey City, New Jersey. Dempsey would go on to win the fight by stopping the game Carpentier in 4 rounds. This was the first million dollar gate in boxing history. Offered here is an original, full, unused ticket for this historic event. This full ticket names both fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. No creasing. Minor edge and corner wear.
