Derek Jeter New York METS Game Issued Error Bat
Oops! Someone either slipped up or was playing a cruel joke on perennial Yankees All-Star Derek Jeter as this 34-inch Louisville Slugger model P72 was made exactly to his specs, with the exception of the barrel denoting "NEW YORK METS" under his name. One thing is certain: we have never seen another like it and probably never will again. The bat is unused and uncracked, with some light rack marks on the barrel. Last season, Jeter took over first place on the Yankees' all-time hit list and is the all-time hits leader among shortstops in the history of the game.
