Detroit Lions Vintage Stars Signed Helmet w/Hopalong Cassidy
Detroit Lions commemorative helmet signed by eleven former NFL football players, including seven members of the 1957 World Champion Detroit Lions. The silver helmet, which is a modern production of a vintage suspension helmet, has been signed in blue Sharpie (grading 10/10) by the following 1957 Detroit Lions players: Howard "Hopalong" Cassidy, Yale Lary, Terry Barr, Charlie Ane, Gary Lowe, Steve Junker, and Darris McCord. Additional signers are William Gay, Bud Ericson, Monte Clark, and one other (illegible). The helmet is also signed by Marilyn Ane, who, presumably, is Charlie Ane's wife. Although we don't know the year, this helmet was obviously signed at a reunion event of former NFL players. NRMT-MT condition.
