Dick Tiger Vs. Gene Fullmer Full Ticket
On August 10, 1963 at Liberty Stadium in Ibadan, Nigeria, WBA Middleweight Champion Dick Tiger defended his title against Gene Fullmer. They also fought for the vacant WBC middleweight title. Tiger stopped Fullmer in the 7th round when hia manager, Merv Jensen, asked to have the bout stopped. The fight was originally scheduled for July 13, 1963, but was postponed for one month. Offered here is and original, full, unused ticket for this event which pictures both fighters. Bold color and print and clear images. Stub firmly attached. Authenticated by PSA/DNA who mistakenly called this a stubless ticket. EX. It is a full ticket. 1/4" x 5.5." A rare ticket, one of two we have seen.
