"DiMaggio" Original Painting by Arthur K. Miller
The 26x47" original painting on board was created in 1996 by artist Arthur K. Miller. It was signed in the bottom left corner by Miller. The piece shows Joe DiMaggio at bat, with nice highlights on his face and uniform. The piece features mostly cool tones of blues, greens, beiges, and whites. The painting looks similar to certain photographic styles, where the subject (DiMaggio) is in focus in the foreground, and the background has been purposely made to look blurry. Beautiful piece.
