Dizzy Dean Retired Number "17" Flag From Busch Stadium

Dizzy Dean Retired Number "17" Flag From Busch Stadium

He was the most recognizable and by far the most talented player from the famed "Gas House Gang" whose abilities on the field and antics away from it granted him a place in American folklore. Offered is one of several flags, though by far one of the more significant, that hung in the retired numbers section of Busch Stadium during the final 2005 season. Dizzy Dean's number "17" is sewn on both sides of the flag in Cardinal red nylon against a white banner of the same make. Screened with manufacturer's logo above the lower grommet, "The Flag Loft", and written with "17" in blue sharpie. Measures 48" at base, 70" in length, light soiling along edge where banner came in contact with the pole, EX-MT
