Don Larsen Perfect Game Photos and Vintage Signed Ticket (10)
Nine spectacular photos chronicle the only nine perfect innings ever to be recorded in World Series history. Highlighted by an 11 x 14" six frame photograph that breaks down the moments before Larsen delivers the final strike to Dale Mitchell. The remainder of the collection, some of the most rare images of the day known (seven 8 x 10" and one 7 x 9"), include shots of Don during and post-game. The majority own their original or front copy and some are with press stampings. Overall EX+. The equally scarce ticket stub (VG) owns a near perfect blue fountain pen signature from the day's hero which grades no less than a "9" out of possible "10". The autograph on this stub was obtained by Arthur Susskind THE DAY AFTER LARSEN'S PERFECT GAME!!!
